    Start from your licence number: for California we read the state's record and fill in your licence and trades. Everyone else adds theirs in the portal.

    One monthly membership opens your portal — your listing, jobs, estimates and invoices. No per-lead fees, and you can cancel any time.

  3. Build your listing

    Your trades, the counties you work and photos of finished jobs. A person checks your licence and approves the listing, usually within one business day.

  4. Get asked to price work

    Homeowners and property owners in your counties find you and request estimates — and, as the investor network opens, investors can invite you to price private projects. You reply to them directly.

Who will find my business?

Homeowners and property owners searching for a licensed contractor in your county — for everyday projects like painting, landscaping, roofing and remodels — and members of Out Of Sight Market's investor network, who buy property to renovate, rent or resell. Your listing shows in the counties you say you work, nowhere else.

How do requests reach me?

By email, and in your portal under Requests. A request sent from your listing goes to you alone; we never sell it or pass it to other contractors. As the investor network opens, investors can also invite you to price a private project — the work written line by line, and the area.

Do I need a licence?

For construction work, yes — contractors are listed in the classification for the work they do: C-33 Painting and Decorating for painters, C-27 Landscaping for landscaping contractors, and so on. Your listing shows your licence number and what the state's record said when we checked, and a person approves it before it goes live.

I do yard maintenance. Can I list?

Yes. Routine yard maintenance — mowing, edging, weeding, trimming hedges and shrubs under 15 ft, leaf and seasonal cleanup — doesn't need a contractor licence in California. Choose "Yard maintenance" when you sign up: same membership, same portal. Your listing says plainly that you're not a state-licensed contractor, shows in its own section under the licensed contractors, and goes live once a person has seen your city business licence. Planting, sod, irrigation, drainage, lighting, patios and walls, and trees 15 ft and up are licensed work, and aren't offered on a yard maintenance listing.

What does it cost?

$40/mo — first 30 days free. The membership opens your portal and publishes your listing; there is no free version. No per-lead fees, no contract and no cut of your work.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your portal. At the end of the period you paid for, your listing comes off the directory and the portal closes. Nothing you wrote or uploaded is deleted — renew and it is all where you left it.

Can anyone pay to be listed above me?

No. Nobody can pay for placement. The directory orders listings by service area, then by whether the licence is confirmed active.
